Frequently Asked Questions

How can my site generate revenue through flexibility?

By participating in mechanisms like MECAPA, AOFD, or NEBEF, your consumption can be temporarily reduced to ease the grid. These services are compensated.

How much can I expect to earn?

On average, up to €1/m²/year. This depends on your surface area, the reducible power, the number of activations, and the targeted markets.

Is it risky? Will I be penalized if I can’t reduce consumption?

No. Tilt covers the operational risk and any potential penalties from RTE. Your remuneration is guaranteed as soon as an activation occurs.

Will I need to change my electricity supply contract?

No. We act as a complement without impacting your existing energy contracts.

Will I lose comfort in my buildings?

Never. Demand response scenarios are configured to respect your comfort thresholds (temperature, ventilation, etc.) and validated in advance.

My asset portfolio is very diverse. How do you orchestrate it?

Our platform is 100% technology-agnostic and compatible with all types and brands of devices. We use standard connectors, APIs, or open protocols.

Is device steering automatic?

Yes. Our system triggers actions automatically based on scenarios defined together (times, thresholds, excluded equipment, etc.).

What if I want to keep manual control?

That’s always possible. You can disable or modify any scenario with one click via the interface. Manual control remains accessible whenever you want.

What do you mean by “multi-level orchestration”?

We can activate flexibility at different levels: by equipment, by zone, by site, or across your entire portfolio. This ensures tailored control for each context.

Do I need to purchase new equipment for this?

No. No CAPEX is required. We leverage your existing infrastructure (BMS, PLCs, sensors, etc.).

Who is your forecasting service for?

Mainly energy players: suppliers, utilities, aggregators, grid operators and balancing responsible parties, and large consumers looking to anticipate their load. It is a key component to secure their operations, adjust procurement, or unlock additional services.

What does better consumption forecasting enable?

It allows better anticipation of peaks, reduces adjustment costs, optimizes contractual commitments on capacity markets, and limits deviation risks. For suppliers or balance responsible parties, it is a direct lever for profitability.

Are your models adaptable?

Yes. We customize forecasts according to your horizon (intraday, day-ahead, weekly…), your granularity (from 5 minutes to 1 hour), and your portfolio (substations, B2B sites, residential sites, etc.).

How do your results compare to existing solutions?

In benchmarks with players like Alliander (Dutch grid operator), our models outperformed in-house solutions on key metrics such as RMSE, peak accuracy, and CRPS.
